Hey everyone! I'm looking to give my PC a little upgrade since I mainly use it for streaming and want to be able to enjoy some higher-end games like Silent Hill F with great graphics. I bought this system as a ready-made setup from a local shop and it was a pretty good deal, but I'm starting to wonder if the tech is getting outdated. I'm willing to spend around $2,000 to $2,500 AUD to improve my setup. Here's what I currently have: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI motherboard, a 500 GB NVMe SSD, a 2 TB HDD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GPU. Any advice or recommendations on quick wins for upgrading my PC would be really appreciated!

First off, if you're looking for a major boost, upgrading to a larger SSD really helps in terms of load times, especially for gaming. If you want big performance, consider getting a new GPU. Since you're playing at higher resolutions, something like a 5070 Ti could work wonders. Just make sure your power supply can handle it!

Yeah, I'd add that make sure your BIOS is updated for compatibility with newer CPUs and GPUs. It’s usually straightforward!

You could also look at a more capable CPU like the 5600X or 5800X, which are compatible with your motherboard after a BIOS update. They give you a good performance boost without breaking the bank. Plus, they work great with modern GPUs!

Thanks for the suggestion! I might go that route if I can find a good deal.

Totally feel you on wanting to upgrade! I had a similar setup and made the leap to a 5700X3D and a 7900 Gre. It was a solid improvement—definitely worth considering if you're looking for a CPU upgrade!
