Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a super quick booting Linux distribution similar to Clear Linux. It used to be fantastic for me, allowing me to go from powering on to my desktop in just 3-5 seconds. Unfortunately, the latest rolling releases have messed with that performance. Are there any other distros out there that could give me that lightning-fast experience?

Have you checked out the distro selection page? It has a lot of recommendations for fast booting distros. Just a heads-up, make sure to back up your data and try things in a VM before you dive in!
What actually changed with Clear Linux to slow it down for you?
Well, I think it was mostly bugs. First off, I can't ditch the systemd boot menu, and on top of that, the autologin feature just won’t stick after I enable it. Super frustrating!
