What are some good alternatives to Meraki Systems Manager?

Cisco Meraki recently announced that they will discontinue their Systems Manager (SM) platform for Mobile Device Management (MDM). The last day to purchase new licenses will be June 3, 2026, and support will end by June 3, 2029. We've been using Meraki SM for managing our mobile devices (both iOS and Android) and while we had some issues, it has generally worked well for us. I'm looking for suggestions on alternative MDM solutions that can help with setting policies, app deployment and restrictions, as well as keeping track of device inventory and status.

What exactly does Meraki do that Intune can’t handle? If you're already in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, moving to Intune is a solid choice.

Yeah, if you’re paying for a suite with Intune included, it makes total sense to just switch over.

If you’re part of M365 and have access to Intune, that’d be the easiest switch! Otherwise, there are many capable MDM solutions. Just make sure to go through your requirements and find what suits best.

Honestly, you could consider pretty much any other solution out there. There are tons of MDM options that can suit your needs perfectly!

I switched from Systems Manager to Mosyle a while back when they started charging fees. It’s been great since then, highly recommend it!
