Hey everyone! I've just gotten an outrageous renewal quote for SolarWinds that's more than tripled in price. This sharp increase is definitely not something we accounted for in our budget, and it's also not a practice we want to support as a company. I'm looking for suggestions on what alternatives others are using for similar functions. We're mainly using SolarWinds for alerting and monitoring things like server performance (CPU, Memory, Disk Latency, Network I/O) and for application monitoring, including proactive service restarts. Would love to hear your recommendations!

I've had a good experience with Nagios and NewRelic for monitoring. They might be worth checking out!
You might want to consider Ninja RMM. We ditched Ncentral for Ninja, and it's worked out really well for us. Just be aware that with Ncentral, you can get different licensing options, but with Ninja, you need a paid license for every device.
It really depends on your specific needs, but we've had great success with Grafana. It needs quite a bit of setup though—like half a full-time equivalent (FTE) of work—but it's very customizable and can pull data from different sources.
We've been using KS-Soft HostMon for system monitoring and its proactive response features. It’s a bit outdated in terms of UI, but it’s stable and lightweight. However, we also had a bad experience with SolarWinds’ Syslog NG, so we're planning to switch to WinSysLog after seeing their price hike.
Datadog is a solid alternative if you're looking for something reliable.
