I'm looking for a reliable PDF viewer that I can use for taking notes and highlighting text. I find the Firefox PDF viewer a bit clunky, so I'm hoping to find something easier to work with. It doesn't need to be overly fancy, just functional enough for underline and note-taking features. Any suggestions?

If you're looking for alternatives, OnlyOffice also supports PDF files. It might have some decent editing features you could explore.
You can find a list of other PDF viewers here: [LinuxLinks](https://www.linuxlinks.com/?s=pdf+viewer). Might discover something else that fits your needs!
Check out Okular! It's really versatile and lets you highlight, underline, and make notes easily. Plus, it generates a table of contents from your PDF for better navigation. If you're on KDE, it probably came preinstalled for you, but it's available for other distros too. Definitely a step up from those basic browser viewers! You can find more info [here](https://okular.kde.org/en-gb/).
This is great advice! I really enjoy using Okular as well.
I have Okular on my setup too, but honestly, for basic use, the Firefox viewer does the trick for me. Just depends on what you need it for.

Oh, and just a heads-up, the highlighter tool is a bit hidden—look for the little pen icon with a squiggly line in the bottom right corner. It took me a while to find it!
