I've recently settled into using Linux and I'm currently working on my emulation console project. I need a way to write ISO or image files to an SD card, similar to what I used to do with Rufus on Windows. I've transitioned to Fedora but I'm facing an issue where it doesn't seem to recognize image files. Can anyone suggest what options I have in the Linux Mint software manager? There's a long list of programs that pop up when I search for ISO or IMG, so I'm a bit confused about what to choose. Thanks in advance for any help!

You should try Fedora Media Writer; it works well for writing raw disk images. If you're using Linux Mint, the 'mintstick' package is also a great choice for writing images to USB sticks or SD cards.
I think you might be hitting a snag with accessing the IMG file. Make sure that the file is extracted correctly and located somewhere you can access easily. Sometimes files won't show up if there are hidden extensions or permissions issues. You might want to check those settings.
