I'm working with a 7-year-old PC for my small printing business, which handles basic tasks like Microsoft Office and printing without too many issues. However, it struggles a lot with editing designs in Canva and becomes painfully slow when I open multiple browser tabs. Here are the specs:
- CPU: AMD A4-6300
- Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A68HM-S1
- RAM: Kingston DDR3 4GB
- Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 8370D IGP
I know I should start by cleaning it since it hasn't been opened in ages. What upgrades can I make to help it perform better temporarily? Thanks!

Honestly, your PC is pretty outdated for what you're trying to do. If it's still using a hard drive instead of an SSD, that would be the first upgrade to consider. But aside from that, adding more RAM might not be worth it since it’s still going to have limitations. Saving for a new build might be your best bet in the long run!
Good point about the age of the parts. The AMD A4 is really on the lower end, and with it being older than you thought, you're better off looking for a new PC. You can snag a decent one for around $125-$150 these days. Also, keep in mind that Windows 10 is nearing its end of life, making your current PC more vulnerable to security issues soon.
I appreciate the tip! I didn’t realize it was that old. Definitely need to think about a new setup.

Thanks for the insight! I'm definitely leaning towards that new build, especially since I want something that can handle design work better.
