I'm looking to build a gaming PC that will last me for 4-5 years, and I'm open to both AMD and Intel processors. Can anyone suggest some good motherboard options?

Look for an AM5 motherboard with PCIe Gen 5 x16 support. The B650E or select B850 boards are great options, but make sure the one you choose has that Gen 5 slot. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth can be a nice bonus, too!
If you’re leaning towards AMD, the Asus TUF 670E-Plus is a solid pick for AM5 compatibility. It offers great specs that should serve you well for your timeline.
The B650 Eagle AX is a fantastic choice! It's an ATX motherboard with three M.2 slots and a robust 12+2+2 VRM configuration, which is excellent for its price.
Just a reminder, while the motherboard is important, the real performance comes from the CPU and GPU. Make sure you’re pairing a good CPU with a compatible motherboard that meets your connectivity needs.
If you go with AM5, almost any B650 or B850 motherboard should hold up for a decade. Just a tip: try to stay clear of the ASRock B850 for now.

That’s true, but if you’re considering slight upgrades in the future, the B850 Eagle might be better due to its PCIe 5.0 GPU slot.
