Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a reliable M.2 2280 SSD, specifically the B+M Key variant. I'm okay with M-Key SSDs, but I'm not sure what brands or models are trustworthy for the B+M Key type. Just to clarify, this version has two small pins on both sides and one wide pin in the center, making it longer than the shorter versions. I'm looking to upgrade the SSD in my HP EliteBook 840 G5, which has a B+M Key slot. I noticed an M-Key slot on the board that seems too short for a full NVMe SSD, so I'm keen on replacing the existing B+M Key 2280 drive with something faster and more reliable. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Make sure to confirm that your motherboard accepts the B+M Key SSDs! The configuration you mentioned is meant to fit both M-key and B-key slots, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue, but double-checking is always a good idea before making a purchase.
You might want to check out the WD Black SN850X. It's known for its performance, and while it's a PCIe M.2 SSD, it can be a great upgrade if it's compatible with your laptop.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it more closely.
I appreciate the tip! I'm definitely doing my research before buying.
