I'm curious about the benefits of using Claude Code compared to just using Claude in Cursor. Some people seem to think Claude Code has a lot of advantages, and I'd love to know if that's really the case. For instance, what makes it so much better? I personally find chat agents work fine for my needs, but I'm open to hearing about others' experiences.

In my experience, Claude Code beats Cursor hands down. If you can afford it, I say go for it. It's powerful for coding, but don't expect it to solve every problem. It's got its hiccups, especially around frontend tasks, but overall, it's pretty solid.
One of the main advantages of Claude Code is its ability to handle multiple terminal windows at once, allowing me to run different instances for various tasks. This setup has really changed the game for my workflow, but it does require some structure to get it to work smoothly.
I've been doing the same with multiple projects to keep busy—it's so much more efficient!
Claude Code is drastically cheaper than the API; with the $20/month plan, you get a value of up to $1300 worth of usage. You don’t have to worry about individual tokens or costs per message.
For me, using Claude Code has been fantastic for coding tasks! I usually run it side by side with my code editor, and it really helps—especially when I need to access requirements and documents while coding without interruptions.
I've found Claude Code to be significantly better overall. It just performs better in terms of context and task completion, plus it’s cheaper than using the API directly.
Can you elaborate on how it surpasses the competition?
In what ways does it outperform other tools?
There's a huge difference! For starters, Claude Code offers near unlimited usage for a fixed monthly fee, which is a steal compared to the limited and costly Cursor plans. It's also way better at understanding context and completing tasks right out of the box.
I back this up! I've been using the Max $200 plan, and I've never hit any limits, even with two coding projects going at once. The same usage on the $100 plan would have crushed me with limits.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely give Claude Code a shot.
What kind of tasks are you tackling concurrently?
