I'm looking for Android emulators that work on Linux. I attempted to install Waydroid but ran into some problems. Are there any other alternatives I should consider? Also, would running a Windows emulator through Wine be a viable option? I'm currently using Endeavour OS.

What problems were you experiencing? Waydroid runs really well for me.

Hey! What kind of issues were you facing with Waydroid? Maybe it was a dependency problem? That's a pretty common hiccup in Linux.

Yeah, I can't recall exactly, but I think it had something to do with missing dependencies.

Waydroid is your best bet since it's the most up-to-date option. As for Windows emulators, they probably won't run well because they need hardware virtualization, which Wine doesn't support.

I heard Waydroid is based on an older version of Lineage OS, though. Is that true?

If Waydroid isn’t working out for you, consider using QEMU with an Android x86 image. Just keep in mind, it might not give you the same performance as Waydroid.

I don't remember what issues I had, but I'm pretty sure they were related to dependencies.
