I'm planning to surprise my sister with a new PC for her birthday and graduation. She's been using the same GPU since around 2021 and is a heavy gamer who also dabbles in 3D modeling. Her current GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 6600, and I want to get her a solid mid-to-high end upgrade that can handle her gaming and modeling workload. I'm not really knowledgeable about PC building or GPUs, so I would appreciate any recommendations on brands and models. Feel free to suggest any accessories, too!

You might want to go for the RX 9070 XT since it’ll work well with her existing setup and should handle her 3D modeling and gaming needs like a champ. Just be sure to check that her power supply can support the new GPU, though!
Exactly! If you're unsure, it's better to be safe and double-check the PSU requirements.
Honestly, the brand isn't the most crucial part; the RX 9070 XT is a solid choice. But just for clarity, I'd steer clear of ASUS based on personal experiences. They were tough with my RMA.
Yikes, that's rough! Hope your new one works better for you.
For what it’s worth, I love my Zotac 4090. I had an issue, but they replaced my defective one, and while it was a refurbished unit, it’s running like a dream now. Just something to keep in mind when considering brands!
If you don't mind spending a bit more, the NVIDIA 4070 Super or 4070 Ti could be fantastic for 3D work thanks to CUDA acceleration. But if she's into Blender, the 7800 XT is decent and usually cheaper! Just make sure her power supply is up to the task for any new GPU.
NVIDIA is usually the go-to for design stuff, but I've heard good things about that AMD model, too. Definitely good options to consider!

Good tip! Power supplies can be a pain sometimes; I had to upgrade mine when I switched GPUs.
