We're currently using Meraki for our fleet of over 400 iPads, but since that product is being phased out, we need to explore other options. I'm interested in hearing what MDM solutions others have found effective. Specifically, we're looking into SimpleMDM, NinjaOne, and Intune. What do you recommend based on your experiences?

If you're managing a fleet of 400+ iPads, JAMF Pro is often considered the gold standard for Apple management. It allows you to leverage Apple’s MDM features efficiently and has excellent tools for device enrollment and lifecycle management. If your organization is aligned with Microsoft products, Intune can integrate well, especially through Apple Business Manager, but it might not be as robust for Apple-specific management compared to JAMF. SimpleMDM is user-friendly and suitable if your devices are primarily iOS-based without needing extensive cross-platform capabilities. Just ensure that whichever platform you choose handles automated enrollment, app deployment at scale, and profile management effectively, as those factors become crucial when managing such a large number of devices.

Jamf Now does a great job too, especially if you have users requiring specific configurations. I manage 150 devices with it and find it effective.
