I'm looking for recommendations on 10G Fiber SFPs that strike a balance between reliability and cost. I've heard people talk about fs.com, which has them for about $30 each. Is that a good deal, or are there better options out there?

I've been using 10gtek for my setups. They’re pretty reliable, but just a heads up, I've had some that didn't last long. Always best to have a few spares just in case!
As a VAR, I often deal with OEMs that charge a fortune for their SFPs. I always recommend fs.com. They had some quality control issues in the past, but those have been sorted out. It's smart to have a couple of OEM units handy just in case a tech needs to see one, but most don’t require that anymore.
I also use FS; they’re cost-effective and reliable. I’ve got about 70 in use, and no issues so far!
FS.com has been my go-to. I keep a few spares on hand, but I've never had to use them since everything's been running smoothly. Even deployed them in a building that overheated—plastic in the ceiling melted, but the network gear survived!
Yikes! That’s a wild scenario. It’s impressive that the switch held up through that!
