What Are the Best Resources for Studying for the RHCSA Exam?

Hey everyone! I recently got my LFCS certification, which is great, but I'm looking to take it a step further with the RHCSA certification. I'm currently working as a Linux Admin with experience in RHEL versions 7, 8, and 9, plus some CentOS under my belt. My Team Lead suggested that I should take some time to study before attempting the exam since its syllabus includes topics not commonly part of my daily tasks. I usually rely on Udemy for my training, but I've noticed that many courses are either outdated or lack depth.

I'm reaching out for recommendations on good study materials—whether they be paid or free—that could help prepare me for the RHCSA exam. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend checking out Ashghar Ghori’s book as well! It’s got clear explanations and tons of exercises in each chapter. You could also combine it with Beanologi’s YouTube channels for RHCSA v9—they’re super helpful for review and practice! You’ll be ready for the exam in no time.

I just started reading Sander van Vugt's book along with his video course, and so far the content is fantastic! I think it pairs really well with structured learning.

Definitely check out Sander van Vugt’s courses on O'Reilly! They’re pretty well-regarded for RHCSA prep. If your employer is covering the exam cost, they might also pay for a fast-track training directly from Red Hat.

If you're looking for something official, grab the RHCSA instructor handbook. It’s a great resource and you can often find it for free on sites like Anna's Archive. It’s what they use in actual Red Hat training!
