I'm running some web services and I've heard it's not a good idea to host monitoring tools on the same server as the service itself. Can anyone recommend some reliable uptime monitoring services that I can use?

There’s a ton of monitoring tools available, which can be overwhelming. Personally, I use RobotAlp. It's great because they offer 14 monitoring tools for free and let you set up 20 monitors with a 3-minute ping interval, so you can test it all without spending a dime. You can find more info [here](https://robotalp.com/uptime-monitoring/). It's worth trying out the free version first before considering a paid plan.
You might want to check out Pulsetic.com! They've got a solid reputation for uptime monitoring.
If you're looking for alternatives, you might want to check out acumenlogs.com. They offer a robust free tier with 10 monitors, SSL checks, and even a browser transactional check, plus a bunch of other features. It might be right up your alley!
