I'm new to building PCs and want to put together a gaming rig that can run games like Fortnite, Roblox, Valorant, Call of Duty, and Siege at high settings with good frames per second (FPS). I'm not interested in RGB lighting or aesthetics; my main goal is performance. My budget is $680. What specs would you recommend?

Check out this build: [pcpartpicker.com/list/ygfd4p](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ygfd4p). You can go for either a 550W PSU with 1TB storage or a 650W PSU with 512GB, depending on whether you plan to upgrade later.

Honestly, with a $680 budget right now, you might be better off looking for a used gaming PC. New parts are expensive, and you'll struggle to get decent performance for the latest games.

You’re aiming too low for what you want, unfortunately. At that budget, it’s hard to achieve high settings with good FPS. You might need around $1000 for a proper setup, especially with the current RAM and GPU prices being so high. If you're really set on performance, you might want to consider a PS5 Pro instead.
