I haven't cleaned my gaming PC in about six months since I packed it up, and I'm planning to take it out tomorrow to use it. I want to make sure I clean it properly beforehand. I've got an air blower to get rid of the dust and a cleaning cloth. Are there any specific tips or things I should keep in mind while I'm cleaning?

Consider using a Wolfbox MF 50 or MF 100 for easier cleaning. Just remember to hold the fans in place while blowing air to prevent them from spinning too fast and generating electricity, which could be harmful. It’s smart to take your PC outside and give it a good blowout! For future cleaning, if you have more intake fans than exhaust, it helps reduce dust accumulation. Hope that’s useful!
If your room is relatively dust-free, a microfiber cloth and compressed air should do the trick. You can stick the cloth between the fan blades and gently spin the fans to catch any dust. Just be cautious and you can even dampen the cloth a little for better cleaning.
Using an air blower and a cloth is great. I also find that a soft-bristled car detailing brush works wonders for getting dust out of tight spots like around fan walls. Don’t forget to clean the outside of the case too; a cloth with some isopropyl alcohol can help remove any oil from fingerprints.
Can you suggest anything specific I should keep in mind while cleaning? I'm really careful, but I'm worried about damaging or displacing any components.

Thanks for the tip! Are there any specific components I should check while cleaning to avoid any issues?
