I'm looking to upgrade my old PC but I'm not sure where to start. I mainly play games like Arc Raiders and League of Legends, and I'm aiming for 1080p around 144fps. Here are my current specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X CPU with stock cooler, Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU, and a 1TB NVMe SSD (Western Digital). I also have a Corsair TX750M (750W, 80+ Gold) PSU. I've done some research and it seems like adding a case fan or two and upgrading the GPU would be the best options. I'm looking for advice on what to upgrade and which components are best to achieve 1080p/144fps without breaking the bank. Thanks!

For a solid upgrade, consider the RX 9060 XT with 16GB or the RX 5060. If you're on a tighter budget, check for a used GTX 3060 or 3070 for around $200. These options should help improve your performance significantly!
You might want to look into the RX 6600 which works really well for 1080p gaming. I built a system with it back in February and it performs great. As for the CPU, if you're aiming for long-term improvement, upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X could be a smart move, though your current CPU still handles 1080p pretty well for now.
I appreciate the tip on the RX 6600! I was also considering the 3060 Ti, but I'll definitely keep the RX 6600 in mind since it seems to handle 1080p well!
The GPU upgrade is crucial; the 9060 XT 16GB would be ideal but you can also go for the 8GB version or a 5060 if you're looking to save some cash. Also, don't forget to update your motherboard BIOS and consider moving up to a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X for better overall performance.

Thanks for the input! I’m leaning towards checking out the 3060 or 6700 XT in that price range.
