What are the best ways to check if my GPU is failing?

I've been experiencing an issue where my screen randomly goes black, but the monitor itself stays powered on. I suspect my RTX 3060 might be failing, as this problem happens at random times, sometimes while my computer is under load and other times when it's idle. I don't think my monitor is the source of the problem. I've got a 750-watt PSU and I'm monitoring temperatures with CoreTemp, so I don't believe overheating is the issue. I want to know the best methods to test my GPU and rule it out as the cause of these blackouts.

Make sure you have the latest GPU drivers installed first. After that, run a stress test for about 24 hours to see if anything goes wrong during that time. Just keep an eye on temperature and performance. If it crashes or shows artifacts, it might give you a clue that the GPU is having issues.

What should I specifically look for after the 24-hour test? Should I be worried if it crashes?
