I'm looking to upgrade my RAM and while I've always used Corsair Vengeance since my first PC build back in 2012 (mainly because it sounded cool), I'm curious about what other brands are considered reliable and trustworthy today. I've had no issues with my current setup but would appreciate a list of RAM brands to consider for my next upgrade. Thanks for any recommendations!

Honestly, the brand itself doesn't matter as much as people think. Most RAM uses the same DRAM chips, regardless of who makes the heatsink or PCB. Just focus on finding a stick that fits your needs and budget.
These days, it’s tough to be picky with RAM brands because of the market. Just pop onto PCPartPicker, sort by specs and price, and choose something that fits your budget. It's a bit of a wild west out there!
I’ve always found Kingston and Corsair to be solid choices for reliable RAM.
There really are only three major manufacturers of RAM: SK Hynix, Micron, and Samsung. All are reliable, but be cautious of budget brands that might source from lower-quality runs. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!
Do you think we'll see prices keep rising? I'm also curious about SSD prices.
I prefer to stick with the QVL (Qualified Vendor List) provided by my motherboard's manufacturer. It's not as big of a deal with DDR4, but I've seen issues with DDR5 when people choose RAM just because they like it instead of checking for compatibility.
From my experience, almost every brand has its ups and downs. It often depends more on the specific model rather than the brand itself. Keep an eye on reviews!
I've been a loyal Corsair Vengeance user too, but have had a few failures over the years. I think I've replaced about three kits in over a decade. So, brand loyalty can be risky!

I can confirm! I bought some KLEVV DDR5 recently because prices were dropping. Never heard of them, but they're a house brand of SK Hynix and they work just fine!
