I've been using a pretty budget PC build for about six years now and I'm finally ready to upgrade. I'm planning to replace my old Ryzen 5 2400G with a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, which I found for $300. Currently, I have an AMD Radeon RX 580, and I'm unsure which GPU would be the best fit for my new processor. My budget is somewhat limited and I'd appreciate any advice on a good GPU that works well with the 5700X3D.

When choosing a GPU, go for the best you can afford. A 9060XT is perfect for gaming, while the 9070 or 9070XT are great if you’re on a slightly higher budget. If you're into gaming and content creation, consider the 5060ti or the 5070ti. It really comes down to how much you're willing to spend.

I appreciate your input! I'm aiming for something that can handle gaming and editing. I heard some mixed reviews about the 5060ti, but I might just give it a shot.

If you can, aim for the 5060 or better for the best performance.

I think the Radeon 9070XT offers a fantastic balance between performance and price. It's not quite as powerful as the 5070ti, but it's a solid choice if you're looking for good value. I recently upgraded to a 5700X3D and paired it with a 5070ti, but I was also considering the 9070XT at one point. If you're gaming at 1080p, the 9060XT is another great budget option. Just make sure your motherboard's BIOS is updated to at least version 3802 for the 5700X3D to work properly!

Thanks for the tip! I found a 5060ti 16GB OC for 420 Euros here in Germany. Do you think that's a decent price?

Yeah, I definitely need to flash my BIOS too, thanks for the reminder!

What kind of resolution and frame rates does your monitor support? That'll be a key factor in deciding your GPU. You want something that matches your display to get the best performance.

I have an ASUS VG248 monitor, which runs at 1920 x 1080 and has a 144 Hz refresh rate. I also have a second monitor but only use it for YouTube and stuff.
