I'm considering making the switch to Proxmox for our hypervisor solution, moving away from Hyper-V. I've heard mixed things and I'm curious about support options. Has anyone here made the jump to Proxmox? Where did you get your support from and how was your experience? I'm a Windows engineer, but I'm a bit paranoid about running a hypervisor on a Linux system, so I just want some reassurance and advice from those who have been through it.

There are plenty of third-party companies that offer support for Proxmox, including options for 24/7 assistance. Just look for one that’s local to you, and you should be in good shape!
Absolutely, Proxmox integrates a lot of established open-source technologies and runs on a popular Linux OS. It's a solid choice if you’re familiar with managing high-availability services on Linux. Just keep in mind, it isn’t quite as polished as VMware or Hyper-V that develop their solutions in-house.
