I usually just rely on my Google News feed and YouTube homepage for essentials. It's a bit of a mixed bag, but it gets the job done. And yeah, Sophos used to have a useful blog on their dashboard, but it seems like that’s gone now.
Bleeping Computer is another solid site for news. Just a heads up, though—the '/feeds/' and '/rss-feeds/' links are currently broken.
The Hacker News is a great place to start for the latest updates on cybersecurity!
I recommend subscribing to the CISA and SANS email lists. You'll get reliable info straight to your inbox. Also, SANS ISC has a podcast if you're into listening on the go!

Yeah, it’s a bummer to see Sophos drop in quality over the years.
