What budget GPU under 300 euros would be good for gaming?

I recently built a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and an ASRock B650M-HDV motherboard. I'm now on the hunt for a GPU that can handle playing games like Fortnite, Battlefield, and CoD with my kids. I'm currently using the integrated GPU on low settings, and while I don't need the highest graphical settings, it would be great to find something that is somewhat future-proof. My budget is capped at 300 euros, and I'm looking at options like the Intel Arc B570 or 580, but I've seen mixed reviews about them. I've also come across a GeForce RTX 3060 TWIN X2 for under 300 euros. Any recommendations?

For esports, it's usually better to skip Intel for now. They've got a ways to go in that area. If high graphics settings aren't your concern, you're in a good spot to pick something decent for 1080p without breaking the bank. Just be mindful of the VRAM, it helps with longevity, but it's not everything. Personally, I’d check out the new Nvidia 5060 series for solid 1080p performance.

Honestly, I think you're gonna want to aim higher than the 3060 if possible. Cards like the 3070Ti or 3080 would be ideal but may be hard to find for that price. Just keep your eyes peeled on secondhand listings, and try to snag something with at least 12GB of VRAM. Also, definitely check out benchmark videos so you know what you're getting into.

With your budget, things can get tricky if you're looking for future-proofing. You won't get much for under 300 euros if you're considering 1080p gameplay. Have you thought about checking the used market? You might find a 6800XT or RTX 3080 listed around 370 euros and maybe negotiate it down a bit. The 6750XT is also a solid option in your price range that can outperform the cards you've mentioned.

A 3060 for 300 euros might not be the best move considering performance. You might want to save a little more and go for something like a 6060XT instead—it's worth it for the extra performance you’ll get.

If you're open to tinkering, Intel GPUs can work, but if you want something that'll just plug in and play reliably, I’d recommend sticking with Nvidia or AMD. What resolution are you planning to game at, by the way?
