I have a Motorola e7 plus, and I'm in a bit of a bind. I recently paid $18 to have someone replace the USB port since it stopped working, but now both my power button and volume down button aren't functioning. I can't enter fastboot mode, so I'm looking for ways to force my phone to turn on. I thought USB debugging was enabled, but ADB isn't recognizing my phone. What alternatives do I have to get my device powered up?

Keep in mind that your phone can't respond to ADB commands if it's not on. You'll need to find a way to turn it on using the buttons first. It’s crucial to have the device powered up for any computer communication.
Honestly, the best option might just be to repair or replace the button itself. Without a working button, it's nearly impossible to turn on the phone. If it's a hardware issue, you might need some professional help.
If it turns out that the buttons are the issue, and you’re comfortable digging in, you could try opening up the phone and shorting the button pins with a piece of wire. This acts as if you pressed the button. Just be careful when you're doing this!
I actually opened my phone too, and it was a challenge! The button setup is weird—it’s a single piece controlling multiple functions. If you decide to try it, just be cautious about which pins you're connecting to avoid any mishaps!
