Hey everyone! I'm looking for a budget-friendly alternative to an anti-static mat or ESD mat to protect my desk while I'm building my first PC. I thought about using the motherboard box, but I'd prefer something a bit larger. I don't think static will be much of an issue since I'm on a wood floor and plan to ground myself with the power supply. Any suggestions?

Honestly, unless your home is super dry, you probably don’t need an anti-static mat at all. Just building right on your desk should be fine!
