I'm in the process of building a new gaming PC and I'm seeking recommendations for a CPU and GPU combination that will still perform well in 2025. My budget is between $600 and $700 just for the CPU and GPU. I primarily play single-player titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, and I'm looking forward to GTA VI when it releases. I do enjoy some competitive games as well, including Warzone and Valorant. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck getting GTA VI to run smoothly on a $600 build! A solid approach might be to target a Ryzen 5 7500F with a 6750 GPU at minimum, and consider a budget B650 motherboard. You should aim for at least 16GB of RAM, 32GB would be even better. A 650W PSU is recommended as well. It should fit in your budget if you shop smart, or consider looking at the used market for better deals.
For a solid build, you could consider going with an i5-12400F along with 32GB of DDR4 RAM (3200MHz or faster if you can find a good deal). Pair that with a B760M DS3H D4 motherboard, an Intel Arc B580 12GB GPU, and a 650W 80Plus Bronze power supply. Don't forget to grab a 1TB Gen4 M.2 SSD to keep your load times short. This setup should have you covered for a good while!
Thanks for the heads up! I meant to emphasize that my total budget is for just the CPU and GPU combined.
