I'm looking for some advice on my first PC build! I got some suggestions to go with a Ryzen 7 7700X for the CPU but I've received mixed recommendations for the GPU. The options mentioned were the 5060 Ti, RX 9060 XT (16GB), RX 9070 XT (16GB), and RTX 5070 (12GB). The 9070 seems to be a bit outside my budget, so I'm curious which combo would work best. I also considered using a Ryzen 5 9600X paired with the RX 9060 XT, but I'm unsure if that's a solid choice. I'm trying to build a system for around £1.2K and would love to hear your thoughts!

First off, it really depends on your monitor resolution! If you're on a tighter budget, you might want to consider downgrading to a Ryzen 5 7600X or a 9600X, and then use the savings to potentially stretch for the RX 9070. That card is a solid performer if you can make it work!

If the 9070 gives a big boost, I'd say it's worth stretching your budget. But definitely consider your monitor setup too!
