Hey everyone! I'm curious about what CPU and GPU temperatures I should expect when running Black Ops 6 at 1080p with extreme settings and a framerate cap of 55fps. I'm using a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU and an RTX 5080 GPU. I've noticed my temperatures seem a bit high, but I wanted to get a better idea of what's normal here. Any insights would be appreciated!

You really should post your temperatures! It helps the community provide better advice. Knowing whether you're using a decent cooler and the condition of your thermal paste makes a difference, too. What are those temps looking like?

Seriously, what's the temp you're seeing? It's much easier for us to analyze if we know your specific numbers. Generally, expected temps depend on various factors like your cooling system, airflow in the case, and even the thermal paste you’re using. So, spill the details—how hot is your setup getting?

Exactly! Also, don’t forget about the room temp and any dust buildup; those can really affect performance.

Temperatures can definitely vary between games, but typically, if you're seeing high temps in BO6, it's likely they'll be similar in other games. Can you share your actual temps? It'd help us figure out if they're unusually high. Also, have you tried using HWinfo64 to monitor your CPU and GPU temps while gaming? That would give you a good overview. And by the way, why are you capping your frame rate at 55fps? You’ve got a powerful setup—maybe consider uncapping it!

The cap was due to some fluctuating performance issues, but I'm sorting that out. Just want to make sure everything's working right.
