I'm planning to buy a 5070 soon and I'm curious about which CPU would pair well with it for gaming at 1440p without causing any bottlenecks. I was considering the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but I'm open to any other suggestions. My budget for the CPU is around $400 to $500. What do you all think?

Honestly, for a good combo with the 5070, you might want to look at the 7700 or even the i5-9600/9700. They can be a better fit than going straight for the 5070 and the 7800X3D depending on pricing.
If you're only looking for a better option, the 9800X3D could be it, but check the price difference first. In Italy, the 7800X3D is about €330, while the 9800X3D jumps to €480, which doesn't seem worth it for pure gaming. If you're into editing or something similar, you might consider a Ryzen 9 like the 9900X3D, although that goes over budget.
