I've recently purchased a 9070XT and an 850W power supply (waiting for it to arrive). Currently, my setup includes an ASUS TUF B450-PLUS GAMING motherboard, a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I'd like to know which CPU would be a good upgrade now. I understand that the 5700X3D and 5800X3D are fantastic options, but they're either sold out or too pricey right now. Would the 5700X or 5800X be adequate, or would I risk experiencing significant bottlenecks with my GPU? Thanks for your help!

I think the 5800X would be the best option. It shouldn't bottleneck your performance at 1440p.
The 5700X or 5800X should work well for 1440p or 4K gaming. Just keep in mind that at 1080p, you might run into CPU bottlenecking, especially on demanding titles.
Good to know! Thanks for the heads-up!

Yeah, for CPU-heavy games like Battlefield 6 or Escape from Tarkov, the 5700X could bottle-neck even at 1440p. Just a heads-up, though—where I live, the AM4 X3D chips are pricier than a 9800X3D!
