I've been considering switching from the 9070 XT to the 5070 Ti for my PC build. Here's what I'm working with: an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE CPU cooler, an Asus PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard, 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM, a Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVMe SSD, the MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, a Corsair 4000D Airflow case, and a Corsair RM750e power supply. The total cost is around £2120. How do these components look? Any advice or suggestions?

For the power supply, check out the Corsair RM850x model. It has native 2x6 connectors for the GPU, which could be useful for your setup. Plus, it’s a solid PSU.

You should really consider at least a 1000W PSU. The 5070 Ti might pull around 250W during gaming, and while that isn’t crazy, it's good to have some headroom. Just for reference, the 9070 XT consumes more than that!

Actually, the 5070 Ti has a lower TDP than a 4080, and I run my 4080 on a 750W PSU without issues. It should be fine with the 750W you have, especially with an AMD setup.

I don’t know, man. Seems like common advice around here to just overshoot the PSU. There's nothing wrong with a 750W PSU for your configuration.

I’d recommend considering the 7800X3D instead of the 9800X3D. The performance difference is only about 20%, but the price gap is quite significant, so you might save a bit without losing much performance.
