I'm planning an upgrade for my PC this year, and I'm looking at a Ryzen 7 7700X processor, an ASUS RTX 5070 OC with 12GB GDDR7, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz. I already have a PS4, but I much prefer gaming on PC. After seeing the GTA 6 trailer, I considered getting a PS5, but I think investing in my PC is a smarter option. My goal is to game at 1440p and occasionally hit 60fps at 4K. I'm not obsessed with max graphics settings, but I want solid performance without breaking the bank. Do you think this setup will handle GTA 6 at 1440p? Or should I be able to achieve more than 60fps at 1080p? Some websites suggest that a GPU with 16GB would be better. What do you think?

I recommend considering the RX 9070 instead. It has 16GB of VRAM, which might provide better performance than the 5070 you’re looking at, especially as games get more demanding.
Your build looks reasonable overall. Just make sure to check it out on PCPartPicker to ensure compatibility, and don't forget to pick the correct country when buying your parts.
I'm not a fan of the 5070 non-Ti due to its 12GB of VRAM. If you're open to it, the 9070 could be a better choice with its extra VRAM. It might be a smarter long-term investment.
I totally get that. I've had mixed experiences with AMD GPUs, and I wanted to give NVIDIA a go this time, but I'm considering the 9070 now for the extra 16GB.
