Hey everyone! I'm building a PC for my friend and I'd love your feedback on my final component list. I want it to have some RGB elements, so I've included RGB RAM and fans for that flashy look. Here's the actual list of parts I'm considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sKsLHW. I initially had an air cooler but switched to an AIO to fit the case better. Are there any other suggestions you have for improving the build or tips for assembling it? Thank you!

Looks like there's some confusion in the specs. You're aiming for RGB but ended up with a setup that’s missing case fans and the RAM you chose isn’t RGB. Plus, the list is missing pricing on the PSU and features an out-of-stock GPU. If you’re going for the RGB aesthetic, make sure you have the right components!
How about this for a revision? You've got to take another look at the RAM—consider 2x16 GB at 6000 MHz CL30 for optimal performance.
You totally need to add some case fans! It’s crucial for airflow, especially if you're going with an AIO. Current build doesn’t seem to have any. What's your budget for fans?
Got it! Here's the real deal: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sKsLHW. I have to redo those fan choices.
Stick with 32GB of RAM. It’s pretty essential for future-proofing, especially for more demanding games. The rest of the build looks solid, but maybe add a couple of extra fans for good measure. What resolution are you aiming for?
It's going to be 2K for sure!
You might want to think about downgrading your CPU to a less expensive 7600X or 9600X. With the 7800 XT, you're likely to be bottlenecking at 1440p. A more budget-friendly full ATX motherboard would work better too. For storage, a cheaper SSD can save you some cash.
Your friend seems set on the CPU, but keep in mind it could be a bit much for the current GPU setup. Are you sure about that part?
Also, considering the case, maybe check out the Corsair 3500X—it's a similar stylish look but more budget-friendly!
Here's a revised recommendation for a more balanced build and aesthetic: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8BDqQd. I've upgraded the RAM to something more appealing aesthetically, adjusted the CPU, and managed to save a bit while maximizing performance. Remember, a case with RGB fans can enhance the whole look!
I like where your suggestions are going! Just check it out—it’s going to be a fun setup!
Hah, my friend is not the best with PC parts, so this will be a hefty upgrade for him!
Absolutely! It needs an AIO cooler if you're going for RGB. If you're sticking with the air cooler, would it be possible to swap the case to one that supports more RGB fans?
