Hey everyone! I've just upgraded my CPU and motherboard and I'm now on the hunt for a new GPU and potentially a PSU. Here's what I've currently got:
- **CPU:** R5 5600
- **RAM:** 16GB 3600Mhz
- **Motherboard:** MSI Tomahawk B550
- **PSU:** EVGA 430W White
- **Current GPU:** RX570 8GB OC
I'm looking at a couple of options: the 7700 XT OC 12GB for around $500, and a PSU from ADATA XPG Core Reactor II VE 750W for about $160. Are these prices reasonable? The PSU feels a bit steep since I got my old one for like $50 but that was many years ago.
Also, I'm mainly playing Assetto Corsa EVO, which doesn't require super high specs, but I'm a bit worried about real-world performance. I'm gaming at 1080p. Any suggestions or things I might be overlooking?

You might also consider the 5060Ti 8GB, which is only about $50 more than the 7700XT. Just keep in mind, while 8GB can be enough for many games now, it may not last as long as the 12GB option with future titles. If you're really aiming for longevity, saving for something like the 9070 or the 5070ti with 16GB might be worth it.
I’d recommend holding off a bit for the upcoming 9060XT announcement next week. It could be a great option in your price range! And yeah, the PSU does seem pricey; I think a good quality 750W should be closer to $100-$120.
If you're looking at prices in the US, that PSU is generally around $90, so it does seem a bit high. You might want to shop around a bit more.
Yeah, I agree. Games are getting more demanding, and having that extra VRAM will help your setup stay relevant longer.
