Hey everyone! I'm upgrading my setup with a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RTX 2060 because it's getting pretty outdated—I'm experiencing stuttering in CS2. I primarily game at 1080p and don't mind skipping 1440p since smooth FPS is my priority. I'm also looking to have a solid experience with VRChat when the new frames drop. So, I'm wondering: what's the best GPU that pairs well with my processor for 1080p gaming and VR?

If your budget allows, aim for the 5060 or 5070. With the Ryzen 5600, you have a good balance, and the GPU can really bring your gaming to life! Getting the best options now makes sense since it'll carry through for future upgrades too. Just go for it!
Exactly! Don't hold back if you're upgrading after so long. Get the 5070!
I'd recommend looking at the 5070 Ti! I know someone with a Ryzen 5800X using it at 1080p. It's somewhat CPU bottlenecked, but they’re still getting great performance. Plus, if you need it for other work like Blender, it makes sense to get a higher-end GPU!
Nice, that's what I was considering! Thanks for the tip!
Before you buy, I’d need to know your motherboard model and power supply, plus the monitor you're gaming on. These factors are essential for making the right recommendation for an upgrade.
I believe I have a GIGABYTE B550M motherboard, but if I need a better power supply, I'm okay upgrading that too!

Totally agree! It’s a solid investment to get something powerful. The 5070 could be perfect for you!
