What GPU Should I Choose for My Next PC Upgrade?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC and I'm stuck on which GPU to get. I currently have a 3060 Ti and I'm considering the 4070, 4070 Ti, RX 9060 XT, or the 5070. My budget for the whole upgrade is around $2500 AUD ($1600 USD). Here are my other components for context: I'm going with a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU, a Corsair Nautilus 360 RS cooler, and 32 GB of Silicon Power XPOWER Storm RGB DDR5 RAM. Also, I'd appreciate any suggestions for a PSU to go along with this setup, as I'll be gaming at 1080p.

For 1440p gaming, the 5070 is a great choice. It's fantastic for 1080p as well, so you won't go wrong with that if you want to keep costs down a bit!

Honestly, all the GPUs you mentioned would work well, but if you can find the 9070 XT for around $600, that’s a fantastic deal! Just make sure your PSU can handle it too. It's good to budget for that as well!

What's the price jump to the 9070 XT from the 5070? Is it really worth $200-$250 AUD more?

If you can save on the cooler and the motherboard, you might be able to squeeze in that 9070 XT. The cheapest 5070 I've seen is about $900 AUD and the 9070 XT is around $1150 AUD. Just make sure you're set with the Ryzen 5 7600X; it deserves a strong GPU.

Yeah, I've seen the 7600X priced around $280 AUD, so if you can adjust your budget, go for the better GPU!
