I'm planning to build a new PC and have a budget of around $100 for the GPU. I'm a bit lost on which model to choose. I've looked into options like the RX 580 and the 1660 Ti, but I'm not sure about their compatibility with my CPU, which is an i5-6th gen. I mainly want to game on titles such as Sekiro, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3, and Assassin's Creed. Can anyone suggest a reliable GPU for my budget?

For a setup like yours with an i5-6500, you still have some solid options that can last a few more years. I'd suggest looking at the Intel Arc A750 (8GB), RTX 3050 (6GB), or some older cards like the GTX 1660 Ti or RX 590 (8GB). They can often be found at good prices, especially if you check eBay, but just be cautious when buying!
Honestly, I'd recommend saving up a bit more to build a new PC altogether. Your i5-6th gen might struggle with recent games at good settings. If you stick with this setup, an RX 580 or a similar card could work, but you might only get decent performance below 60Hz. Save up for a mid-range AM4 build, and then you can invest a bit more into a GPU. It’ll be worth it!
If you're looking at used GPUs, I’d put them in this order from best to worst: 1070, 1660 Ti, 5600XT, 2060, 1070 Ti, 1080, 5700 XT, and then 2060 Super. Depending on your needs and the games you're targeting, it could vary, but aim for one from the right side of that list for better performance.
Thanks for the advice! I guess saving up for better hardware makes sense.
