I'm putting together a gaming rig featuring a Ryzen 5 7500F and need suggestions for a good GPU that can handle 1080p gaming well. I'm mainly playing single-player games like Cyberpunk 2077, Spider-Man, Elden Ring, and Hogwarts Legacy, but I also dabble in some competitive gaming. I'm open to either AMD or Nvidia options, although I'm more familiar with Nvidia drivers. I'm looking for a card that delivers excellent performance and value. Any recommendations?

I actually run a Ryzen 5 7500F with an RX 6600, and I can play everything at 1440p high settings while maintaining around 60 FPS. If I had to recommend a GPU, I'd say the RX 9060 XT with 16GB is ideal. For raw performance, the RX 6800 XT is similar to the 9060 XT, but it's about 22% faster in pure rasterization. For ray tracing, the RTX 4060 Ti matches up well with the 9060 XT.

The 6800 XT's raster performance is impressive! It’s definitely worth considering if you want that extra power.

If you're looking for great value, go for a 9060 or 9070, whether XT or non-XT. As for Nvidia, consider the 4070 or higher. They all pair nicely with your Ryzen setup and provide a solid gaming experience.

The RX 9060 XT is a fantastic choice for 1080p gaming. It offers robust performance that'll handle all the games you mentioned without breaking the bank.
