I've just received an i9-14900K along with an NZXT N7 Z790 motherboard and 64GB of Kingston FURY DDR5 RAM, and now I'm looking to complete my PC build. It's been 15 years since my last build, so I'm a bit out of touch with the current hardware options and honestly feeling overwhelmed by the conflicting information out there.
Most of my gaming revolves around titles like Rimworld, Stellaris, and CK II/III, though I do enjoy playing Fall Guys and Rocket League on occasion. With that in mind, I'm hoping to find a good GPU that won't break the bank — ideally costing no more than £300. Just to clarify, my budget is solely for the GPU and I plan on using my old 24" Samsung monitors. I'm also open to advice on other components, but the GPU is currently my biggest concern.

If you want to stick to Nvidia, the 3060 12GB is a good shout. Alternatively, the 5060 Ti 8GB is another option that might suit your needs, although I’d recommend the 16GB variant if you can find it. These should handle your games fairly well without exceeding your budget too much. Keep in mind, though, that prices fluctuate a lot right now.
