I'm looking to upgrade from my RTX 2070 Ti and I'm curious about what GPU would be the best choice for gaming at 1440p with 60fps. I'm not too concerned about ray tracing, so I'm focusing on performance for the price. Any recommendations?

Personally, I think the RTX 5070 offers a great balance between price and performance for 1440p gaming. It drives my 180Hz monitor just fine. Sure, cards like the 9070 XT are faster, but they're also pricier and might be overkill for 60fps.
I had the RX 7800 XT before switching to the 5070 and it was a game changer. It handles 1440p beautifully, especially if you use upscaling techniques. I recommend either the 5070 or 9070 if you have the budget!
If you want something that lasts, the 9070 XT is a solid option for long-term use. Power demands are something to consider, so make sure your PSU can handle it. But for 60fps at 1440p, the 5070 might be just right!
The 5090 is definitely impressive, but don't count out the 5070 Ti for a strong performance upgrade from your 2070 Ti.
If you're looking for top performance, the RTX 5090 would be an excellent choice. It's definitely powerful enough for your needs. Some folks even joke about getting two 5090s for maximum power!
That's a bit overkill, isn't it? Maybe just one 5090 would suffice!

I just got a 5070 to pair with my setup, and I couldn't be happier! The performance boost from my old 1080 Ti was amazing.
