Hi everyone, happy Ramadan! I'm running a system with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor on an ASUS PRIME B450M-K II motherboard. Unfortunately, my ASUS Radeon RX 6700 XT has failed and doesn't work anymore, as it's not recognized by the system and keeps kicking me out of games. The technician said it's unfixable. Given that purchasing a new graphics card is almost as expensive as the whole system, I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to repair it. But if I need to buy a new one, what are some good options that will work well with my current setup? Thanks for your help!

Any GPU released since PCI-e became standard should work with your motherboard. Just keep in mind the performance impact due to the PCIe version. I'd suggest the 9060 XT or something like the 7800 XT, which are solid choices, especially since they both have plenty of VRAM. You’ll find that even though your motherboard only supports PCIe 3.0, newer cards can run on it without major issues.

Thanks for the suggestions! Do you think Nvidia is a better option given AMD's software issues?
