I'm looking for a graphics card that can deliver 60Hz at 1440p. My current setup includes a 9800x3d processor and 32GB of RAM. I mainly play RTS games on high settings and don't really dive into competitive AAA titles. Would a 5060 Ti be sufficient, or is it worth spending an extra $350 to upgrade to a 5070 Ti? I've also heard about the 9070 XT—what's the best choice here?

I'd recommend looking at either the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti. They both should handle 1440p quite well. The 9070 XT excels at ray tracing but can drop performance with certain features turned on. If you're just playing RTS, the 5070 Ti is likely your best option to ensure a good experience over the next few years. If you want to stick with dependable performance, go for the 5070 Ti!

Yeah, I'd second that! The 5070 Ti offers a nice balance for longevity and solid performance.

For achieving 60Hz at 1440p, I'd say you're in the $500 range for a GPU. Either the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti would be great picks for long-term performance at that resolution.

I've got a 9070 XT, and it runs almost everything at 1440p on ultra settings smoothly. If you're okay with just hitting 60Hz, you might even consider the 9060 XT 16GB since it could save you some cash while still giving decent performance for RTS games.

For sure! If the aim is just 60fps, the 9060 XT could be a very cost-effective choice.

Honestly, why not snag a used 3070 Ti? I found mine for about $250, which could save you a lot compared to the higher-end cards. If you find a good deal on the 5070 Ti for under $400, that'd be a solid option too!

If you're planning to keep your build for a while, I'd lean toward the 5070 Ti. It's designed to handle 1440p effortlessly, and even demanding titles shouldn't be an issue. The 9070 XT can be more power-hungry and a bit trickier with some settings right now, but it's also a strong competitor. Both will serve you well if you get them at MSRP.
