I'm having trouble running Elden Ring on my current setup with an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. It's barely functional, even at the lowest graphics settings. I'm looking for recommendations on better graphics cards that can handle higher graphics settings for this game. Ideally, I would like to know what options are out there within a price range of $500-$600, and what I should consider for compatibility with my AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU.

Honestly, anything from more modern generations will be a step up from your current setup. The RX 6700 XT or even the RTX 3060 or 4060 should give you much better performance in games like Elden Ring. Just make sure to also consider your PSU and other setup specs, since they can be as crucial as the GPU itself!

Don't forget to consider your CPU too! The Ryzen 5 5500 can limit your GPU choice. If you're set on getting a top-tier GPU, think about upgrading your CPU down the line for the best experience.

If you're looking for a significant upgrade, the RTX 4080 Super is a top tier option, but be mindful of your existing setup. It's kind of like swapping a budget car for a luxury sports car—great performance, but check if your other components can keep up!

True, but let's be honest, it's often overkill unless you've got the rest of the system to match.

Upgrading to a card like the RX 6650 XT or RTX 4060 would be a good choice too. If you're excited to play high settings, definitely look into those options! They offer great value and should handle your gaming needs pretty well. I made the jump from a 6500 XT to a 4060 and it was a game changer!

Same here! Anything in the 6650-7600, or even RTX 4060 series will work wonders compared to the 6500 XT.

There's a bunch of great cards out there! If you're targeting a $500-$600 range, you might want to consider the RX 6600 or the RTX 3060. Both are modern options that should perform well for 1080p gaming. Just keep in mind that the CPU, the AMD Ryzen 5 5500, could also be a bottleneck.

Definitely check used markets for the RX 6700 XT too—it's a solid option and usually around $250-$300. You'd get much better performance!
