I'm a bit worried after watching a video about AIO coolers and whether or not you're supposed to take the plastic film off. I built my PC about 6 months ago, and I can't remember if I removed it or not. I'm curious to know if leaving the film on would cause immediate throttling and overheating, or if my PC could run fine for a while before any issues arise. I've been monitoring my temps: they're usually around 30-35°C when idle, sometimes even hitting 25°C. While gaming, they range from 40-55°C, with my highest being in the 70s while playing Skate 4. So, what's the deal?

From what I know, if you leave the plastic on the cooler, you’ll likely see your temperatures shoot up pretty quickly. Given that your cooling seems to be functioning well, I doubt you left it on. But it’s definitely something to check!

That makes sense! If my temps have been good for 6 months, I probably removed it. It just feels weird not remembering, lol.
