Hey everyone! I recently built my PC and I have four 12V DC fans running at 1100 RPM. Each fan has a rated amperage of 0.236A. I'm wondering if it's safe to connect all four fans to the cha_fan2 header on my ASUS Prime B450m-a II motherboard. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Check the motherboard manual for the maximum amperage rating. If it doesn’t specify, it’s likely around 1A. Adding up the fans, 4 x 0.236A equals 0.944A, which should be fine but it's good to double-check.

Thanks for the info! I’m a bit confused though—doesn’t 4 x 0.236A actually equal 0.944A? Just wanted to clarify!
