A folder named gv_dump keeps appearing on my D: drive. It returns about a day after I delete it, and contains a 0-byte file named spk_emb_175047.bin. I cannot find much information about it online. Does anyone know which application creates this folder and whether it is safe to remove?

If you use software with text-to-speech or voice-chat features, that could also create a similar folder. However, based on the filename and the reports from players of Arena Breakout: Infinite, the game’s bundled voice system is the more likely explanation. A 0-byte file by itself is not evidence of spyware.
This appears to be created by Arena Breakout: Infinite, which uses Tencent’s GVoice voice-chat SDK. The “gv_” prefix likely refers to GVoice, and the empty .bin file may be a generated voice or speech-related resource. It can return whenever the game starts, so deleting it probably will not prevent it from coming back.
I see the same behavior with Arena Breakout: Infinite. The folder is recreated whenever I launch the game, which makes the game’s voice components the most likely source.
