I'm in the process of building a new PC and need some advice on what type of monitor to get. My current monitor is a mystery, but here are the specs of my new build:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Aqua Elite 360mm AIO
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850M GAMING X WIFI6E
- **Memory**: G.Skill Flare X5 16 GB
- **Storage**: Crucial P310 1 TB
- **Video Card**: GeForce RTX 3080 10GB
- **Case**: Lian Li A3
- **Power Supply**: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3
- **Operating System**: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro

I mostly play games like The Last Of Us, RDR2, GTA, Skyrim, and Fallout, among others. I'm looking for something with good quality but I don't want to spend $700 on a monitor. Any suggestions?

I recommend checking out the **LG 27G610A-B** for around $240 or the **Acer XV271U** for about $170. Both are excellent options that should serve you well for various games.

For your setup, I’d suggest looking at 1440p monitors, ideally between 27" to 32" and with a refresh rate of 144-180Hz. The RTX 3080 is perfect for 1440p gaming! You can find good deals in the $140-$175 range new or even cheaper if you’re open to refurbished or second-hand options. Brands like AOC and MSI usually offer good value for performance. Check out sales on websites like buildapcsales for the best pricing.

Should I just swap out my cooler for something cheaper then? Any other tweaks you recommend for the build?
