What Kind of Monitor Should I Get for My New PC?

I'm building a new PC with a 5070 TI graphics card and 32 GB of RAM (I think it's a Gigabyte TI and Kingbank RAM). I'm trying to figure out what monitor to pair with it. What refresh rate or hertz should I aim for? Should I invest in a 1440p OLED display, a regular 4K monitor, or stick with a standard 1440p? I've noticed that OLEDs are pretty pricey, so I'm wondering if they're really worth the investment?

Definitely consider getting an OLED! The quality is superior, but just keep in mind that if you're using it for web browsing or work frequently, the display may not hold up as long as non-OLEDs. So, if longevity is a concern, that might be something to think about!

If you're looking for an amazing visual experience, a 1440p OLED with your setup would be incredible. However, in my opinion, OLED is really worth it for systems that cost around $2k or more. Since you have a solid 5070 TI, you can definitely maximize performance, but just consider if spending some of that budget on other upgrades might offer better overall value for your system!

I recently picked up the Samsung Odyssey G8, which is a 32" 4K QDOLED with 240Hz and a fantastic 0.3ms refresh rate. I got it on sale for $899, and it was such a steal! If you can find it discounted, it's an awesome monitor that would pair beautifully with your new rig.
